Helping recent graduates gain practical insights and real-world experience that bridge the gap between their education and practice as a therapist. Clinical Supervision is available in Lakewood, CO and across Colorado.
Are you looking for a structured environment to develop your clinical skills and feel confident in your abilities? Are you looking for experienced supervision to help you navigate the complexities of providing therapy so you can become the best therapist you can be?
If you find yourself wondering what to do with clients after the intake session, or feeling like you never really learned how to conduct an intake during your internship, we are here to address those concerns and more. You will get real-life experience and support managing ethical and legal dilemmas, handling triggers from clients, choosing the right training, and understanding how to assess clients and pick the right interventions.
You have completed your degree and mastered the technical aspects of being a therapist, but imposter syndrome is starting to creep in. Clinical supervision is the key to bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world practice.
Our supervision process is designed to support your growth and development as a therapist, ensuring you gain the skills and confidence needed to provide exceptional care to your clients.
We begin by understanding your needs, professional background, areas of interest, and specific challenges. This helps us tailor our approach to best support your development and career aspirations.
Based on the initial consultation, we develop a personalized supervision plan with clear, achievable goals. Whether mastering specific techniques, addressing ethical issues, or enhancing your overall practice, the plan is yours.
We engage in regular individual or group supervision sessions where we discuss cases, receive feedback, and explore new therapeutic techniques. Evaluations are completed by both you and your supervisor to ensure we stay on track.

For individual supervision (50-minute sessions), we require that you meet a minimum of once a month with your supervisor, regardless of how many clients you are seeing. Keep in mind that for both LPC and LMFT licenses, you need to maintain a ratio of one supervision hour for every 20 client hours. For group supervision (2-hour sessions, virtual), we meet once a month and ask that you commit to attending for a set period. This allows us to plan effectively and maintain smaller group sizes.
Most of our supervision is done virtually, but we do offer both virtual and in-person sessions to accommodate different preferences and needs.
Choosing a clinical supervisor is a lot like choosing a therapist. Consider personality, training, and experience. Make sure your personalities will work well together. Think about the theories you want to train in or improve your skills with, and pick a supervisor who is trained in those same theories. Also consider how much experience you want your supervisor to have, both in their theoretical practice and in their supervisory practice.
Individual supervision is a 50-minute one-on-one session where we review session recordings, discuss ethical and legal issues, explore theoretical perspectives, focus on the self of the therapist, and set goals together. Group supervision is a 2-hour virtual session held once a month where one person presents a case, the group provides collaborative feedback, and everyone builds a community of colleagues who support each other's work.

We begin with an initial consultation to understand your needs and goals for supervision. We will discuss your professional background, areas of interest, and specific challenges you may be facing.
