Many of the children, teens, and families I work with come to therapy feeling overwhelmed—whether by big emotions, behavioral challenges, school struggles, or changes at home like divorce or a recent diagnosis. Parents often share that their child seems withdrawn, anxious, or angry, and they’re unsure how to support them. They’re looking for someone who can truly see their child and help them feel understood.

In our sessions, I aim to provide a warm, structured, and playful environment where children and adolescents feel safe to explore what’s going on beneath the surface. Through the use of evidence-based practices—such as Play Therapy, CBT, DBT, and mindfulness—I support kids and teens in developing emotional awareness, confidence, and more effective ways of coping and communicating.

I specialize in working with adolescents navigating neurodivergence (ADHD and Autism), anxiety, depression, identity development, school avoidance, or family conflict. My approach with teens is relational and non-judgmental. I work to build genuine trust, offering them space to process complex emotions and equipping them with tools they can use beyond therapy. My goal is to help teens feel more in control of their lives and confident in expressing who they are.

With families, I take a systems-based approach to improve connection and communication. Whether a family is feeling stuck, exhausted by patterns of conflict, or simply trying to better understand one another, I help create pathways to repair, clarity, and deeper relationships.

When therapy is complete, my clients, both young people and their families, feel more connected, equipped, and hopeful—able to navigate life’s challenges with more ease and trust in themselves and each other.

Whether you’re a parent who’s worried about your child, or a teen reading this yourself and wondering if therapy might actually help — you’re in the right place. I offer a free 20-minute consultation to explore whether we’re a good fit.

"Play is a child's first language"

Outside of the office, you would probably find me with an iced coffee in my hand, my puppy by my side, and a football game on. I find joy in slow mornings at the farmers market.
