Life can start to feel overwhelming when relationships become tense, communication breaks down, or emotional pain keeps resurfacing. You might feel disconnected from the people you love or unsure how to move forward after conflict, separation, or trauma. Many of my clients describe feeling "stuck." They are caught between wanting to make things better but not knowing how. Underneath it all, there's often a deep desire for stability, trust, and genuine connection.
My role is to create a supportive space where healing and understanding can take root. I work collaboratively with individuals and families to rebuild trust, improve communication, and strengthen their ability to face challenges together. Whether we're addressing trauma, navigating a difficult family dynamic, or finding ways to reconnect after distance or hurt, we move at a pace that feels safe and sustainable for you.
I draw on evidence-based approaches that are grounded in trauma-informed care, family systems, and mindfulness, all while keeping our sessions warm, practical, and real. My goal is to help you rediscover meaning, purpose, and balance in your life and relationships.
I'm fluent in English and Spanish (and conversational in Portuguese and French), and I work with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds. My experience includes working in high-stress environments such as inpatient, PTSD, and substance use programs, which has taught me how to stay calm and grounded even in emotionally intense situations.
Above all, I believe therapy works best when it feels collaborative. Together, we'll focus on helping you feel more empowered, more connected, and more confident in your ability to navigate what comes next.
Clients often tell me they leave therapy feeling lighter, more hopeful, and better equipped to handle the ups and downs of life. Families begin to communicate with more openness and understanding. Individuals reconnect with their sense of self and start to trust in their own resilience again.
My hope is that when you finish therapy, you'll not only feel more at peace, but also more capable of creating the relationships and life you've been longing for.
